How To Find The Perfect Prospect

  Article By: Joey Fratantoni

Network marketing, as you have already came to realize, is a business that is all about people. To be more specific, it is all about finding the most qualified people, perfect prospects, to aid you in building a large organization and create the highly attractive, passive income. But who is your perfect propsect and where do you find them?

If you have ever tried conventional business building practices such as cold calling leads, warm market prospecting and home meetings, you understand that it is somewhat difficult to find the best prospects. The outcome is typcially rejection and frustration and new distributors feel defeated and begin to question the legitimacy of the industry as a whole. Be aware my friend, there is a much smarter and easier way to find the perfect prospect for your business. Believe it or not, these people are out there and are looking for just what you offer. How will they find you?

Positioning.

The ability to position yourself right can allow you to be found by the most qualified and perfect people you need to grow a massive team and actually make this network marketing thing work. Technology, and our ever increasing ability to connect with anyone, anywhere in the world, allows the proper positioning to happen and can link you with the best prospect no matter where you live.

The perfect technology to make all this possible is the internet. Using focused marketing campaigns, email and web sites, you can customize ads to actually 'attract' the most qualified prospects for your business. Imagine, having the power to create a classified ad in the newspaper and getting it seen by the exact person you were targeting. This is the power of the internet and how thousands of network marketers have eliminated rejection and built huge downlines in record time! This is not fiction and is so real it can be scary to some.

As great as the internet is, offline advertising can still be used to target the right people for your business. It's all about the quality of your ad. Through precision focus and diligent research you can create ads that 'speak' directly to the exact people you want. Here's an example. You create an ad that targets potential home business searchers, but instead of just targeting home business owners you can include specific requirements that will filter out any of the faulty prospects you may potentially deal with. These requirements could include athletic experience, serious inquiries only or you could list a desired qualification such as a sales background.

Crafting a targeted ad, whether online or offline, allows you to pre-qualify your prospects before you even talk to them. By doing this, you only talk to the most professional, motivated and entrepreneurial of inquires, which in turn increases your odds to meet the perfect prospect. You should approach your sponsoring like this because it is your business. In order to maximize your productivity from your team you want your team to be filled with people who get results. Not people who will complain, need their hand held and lack in consistency.

Maintaining this strict congruence in your marketing and advertising will increase profitability and retention. Pair this with a well managed company and an in demand product and you will succeed in this industry. But always remember, you have to position yourself to be found by your perfect prospect. You will have to let go of average producers and focus on higher producers. You have to think of yourself as a CEO of a Fortune 500 company. This is your business. Who do you want working with you?

So what types of people would be considered your perfect prospect? Here's a list of qualities and traits to be on the look out for:

* Past success in other industries
* Good communication skills
* Previous sales experience
* Previous network marketing experience
* Self starters
* Athletes
* Performers (actors, singers, etc.)
* Outstanding military experience
* Entrepreneurial minded
* People who simply 'get it'

There are a few others, but you get the point. Keeping these people in mind and crafting your ads accordingly, will be of the highest benefit to you and your network marketing business. The perfect prospect possesses one or more of these qualities and can help you realize your long term goals in this industry. Always think quality over quantity.
