Live Mortgage Free - Compare Mortgage Quotes First

  Article By: Andy Guides

It's completely wrong to feel you have to be homeless before you can save on your mortgage loan or live mortgage free. Unfortunately, this is what most people do in an attempt to avoid paying their monthly mortgage.

It's not true that you can't own your own home and pay if off early; tell the naysayers to take their scoff elsewhere.

When many hear this, they then wonder if it's indeed possible to pay off their mortgage and still have money to be able to afford their present lifestyles. Many are still of the illusive thought that this is such a hard feat to achieve, but it's not.

Every individual who owes for mortgage loans should make it their top priority to first repay their loans before anything else; whether they have the extra funds or not. It's not just about bringing in lots and lots of money that you will be able to pay off your mortgage debt that easily. If you truly desire to join those who have paid off their mortgage debt without tears, be very determined, take care in planning and make some adjustments in your budget.

Do you know that it's really possible to complete the payment of your mortgage and own that home within 10 years or even 5 few years? Think this is a joke?

Not at all, one doesn't have to sell their blood to achieve this; all it takes is just the right sacrifice.

Still wondering how you can achieve this seemingly impossible task?

First, resist the urge to blow your tax refund on unnecessary expenses when you receive it each year. What is wise to do instead is to use the money for repaying your mortgage loans. Just paying $50 to $100 extra per month can, within some years, pay off tens of thousands of dollars of your mortgage loans.

Instead of wasting money and time taking a fishing trip on the other side of the United States, it's wiser for you to take one that's quite close to your home. Also, I don't see why you should continue to waste money traveling to Hawaii each year to celebrate your anniversary when you can celebrate it closer home and save the extras.

Ladies shouldn't continue to spend so much money on pedicures and manicures and those expensive monthly spa treatments; they should do these themselves instead, and save the extra money. You might think it doesn't matter, but just cutting down on your golfing from weekly to monthly can help you save enough towards paying off your mortgage.

It may seem that hundreds of dollars extra that you pay for your mortgage won't matter, but the truth is that they can help shave off 6 years from the time it would have taken you to pay off the mortgage. If you want to increase your savings, just pay a little extra each time. It's crazy not to take advantage of this.

Just by staying away from visiting Wal-Mart or Target each day to buy cigarettes, beer, etc can help you save an extra $10 to $25 each month. Meet with your lender and talk about the possibility of having your monthly payments increased so that you become debt free faster. If this isn't possible, simple go back to the payments you were making before.

Wise people put aside money from their tax refunds to their accounts and consider this money well spent. Don't listen to those that say you should spend money from your main account; instead, open a new account for the purpose of extra unnecessary spending. Of course not -- it's not necessary to suddenly start living the life of a monk in a monastery just to be able to pay off your mortgage in good time; what this does for you is help you get into the right frame of mind to save towards paying your mortgage. Cutting down on entertainment completely is not the way to go; just reduce it a little bit. Reduce your weekly outing to once a month.

If you don't know how to, it's recommended that you learn to be moderate in your expenses so that you can have the extra money each time to pay for your mortgage loans. Get out a calculator now and do the numbers. As far as I'm concerned, almost everyone will admit that they will like to save tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars during the time of their mortgage.

It's very unwise to sell your life in a vain bid to own a home. If you consistently follow your budget of living on less and putting aside a certain amount each month for repaying the mortgage, you will be surprised that you will pay it all within 5 to 10 years.
