True...and good advice! For many, they have become a "writer" out of pure necessity to simply survive online. Along the way, I'm sure they have something original and valuable to say. I do concede that there is a bunch of bunk being passed off as articles. Shall we consider the article spammers and spinners? For every good idea, there will always be those who spoil it. Just my two cents...

well, i believe that you have a good start with the topics that you have had started. also, very nice use of adsense. i hate sites where you feel like they exist just for the sake of getting one to click. i really like your layout and design...simple and straightforward. keep up the good work and let me know if you need any help.

yep...i agree. i think the packages are useful for helping to generate ideas for inclusion in an article. if someone is using the package to plagiarize, then it's being used for the wrong purpose. heck, there are only a few good article sites out there anyway that have good management and good PR's.

Actually, I have been thinking about the same thing. Other than adding a tangible product of some sort (t-shirts, coffee mugs, pens w/ logos, etc...), I think the key is adding a service of some type that is fee-based. For instance, you could offer to set up a newb's blog or article site for a small fee. Anyone familiar with some of the software packages, such as Article Dashboard and Wordpress, could make a killing doing this. I have seen Jodi's AD site and she has a couple other ventures related to auxillary software packages which makes things a bit easier for people to handle submissions and the like. Suppose that if someone were to get a script and then modify it for a particular purpose in an area where there is a real need, it could generate some cash. Anyone else?...as I seem to be rambling.

I agree! I have to ask myself how many times have I read an article just to get 3 sentences into the thing and then just decide it is not worth reading.

One of the strategies that I implement is to try to "hook" the reader in the first sentence or two by giving some tidbit of information which forces an "Oh, I didn't know that..." response from the reader.

I totally want my readers to glean something useful from everything that I write. If I can't do this, then I have come up with nothing original and therefore nothing valuable.
