The internet also known as the information highway, a phrase that should be nominated for the Internet Cliche Award. Web surfers that go to the world wide web are split into groups of surfers, but generally just search for information of interest. There are a ton of theories out there related to writing a good resource box. I think that the best rule is to follow the “KISS” rule, i.e., Keep It Simple Stupid, because most people just want to know how to get to my site for additional information.
I usually use put my link on a keyword. This is known as an anchor text. Using your URL as an anchor really doesn’t do much since most people are not putting your URL into a search box on google. They are seaching for a topic. If you use your anchor text that is relevant to the page the article is referring to, it provides more weight.
