Videoblogging works with web surfers on the World Wide Web expressing themselves, but I want to know if anyone has some hard facts as to how important this particular venue is becoming. What I mean is…what is the growth potential in this area. Reason is…I was at my local BestBuy yesterday and they had 30GB Sony HD cameras on sale for about $1000 which included all the goodies. The sales dude was actually pretty knowledgeable (sp?). I guess the video is saved in HD format as an *.mpg file and can be exported to be used. He said a 10 second clip would be about 4MB. On a high-traffic site, the bandwidth cops might shut us all down.
At any rate, what’s everyone think on this. I’m really thinking of doing some video so I don’t become a dinasaur in the next 6 months.
