Jesus our Lord and Savior vs. Technology The world is overflowing in technology, which has allowed us to traverse vast oceans, and even send probes into deep outer space. Christianity has learned to cultivate technology as well in order to spread the gospel across the world. Yet in the midst of our technological advancements, the world continues to fall apart. Sin today is more prevalent than any other time in history and it will continue to escalate until Jesus returns. How does technology relate to the increased sins of the world? The Unfathomable Love of Jesus at the Cross When was the last time you actually considered what Jesus did on your behalf? We know that God sent His Son to die on the cross for us so that we may be with Him forever, but have you ever really taken the time to consider what Jesus actually suffered through as your substitute or have you simply taken it all for granted? People who do not understand or simply blow off the significance of Christ's crucifixion cannot appreciate the invitation to eternal life with God. Can Christians Walk Together When They Don't Agree? God is not a respecter of persons, but a respecter of the heart. If this is God's perspective of us, then should our perspective of one another be any less? As Christians, we often develop friendships because we can agree in our personal understanding concerning Scripture and biblical interpretation, but what happens when we don't agree? Can we love despite our disagreements? In other words, do we base our relationships upon our intellectual understanding or God's unconditional love? Okay They're Saved, Now What? (an excerpt from "It's Not About You" vol.2) In the home, we protect our children the best we know how and teach them properly early in child rearing because we know that if we fail to do so, danger lurks around every corner to ambush that child. Spiritually, we are neglecting the young in Christ. They are being left on their own to fend for themselves. Because they lack in knowledge and understanding, they fall away from Christ in great numbers. Souls are getting saved, but few are being trained up and discipled. The True Legacy of Tithes and Offerings What is being taught in your church about tithes and offerings? Are people actually giving cheerfully as God commanded or are they giving reluctantly and in response to the pressures of the church? Why was Jesus wroth with the Pharisees concerning their demands of the people's tithes? God's Unconditional Love Many people around the world today are questioning Gods unconditional love.
